The company behind Foodclick
Foodclick uses image recognition, inventory intelligence and generative AI to understand what users have at home, recommend relevant recipes and help reduce everyday food waste.
Kindframe develops and operates its own proprietary technology products. Our current focus is Foodclick. We do not provide outsourced software development, staff augmentation or consulting services to external clients.
Foodclick is developed and owned by Kindframe.
The founders work directly on product, UX, engineering and AI systems.
We are building a scalable consumer product, not delivering short-term client projects.
People buy food, lose track of what is at home and struggle to decide what to cook. Traditional recipe products usually begin with a recipe search. Foodclick begins with the user's real inventory.
People do not reliably remember what is already at home.
Recipes are rarely adapted to the products users actually have.
Food is purchased again, forgotten or discarded before it is used.
Foodclick connects product recognition, household inventory, recipe relevance and cooking history in one mobile experience. Foodclick is not another recipe database. Its core value comes from connecting what a user has, what they can cook, what they actually cook and how their inventory changes afterward.
The user photographs products or adds them manually.
AI identifies products and maps them to a structured inventory.
Recipes are ranked according to what the user already has.
Cooking events and optional dish photos help improve future product relevance.
The loop feeds back into what the user has on hand.
Foodclick has a working mobile MVP with its core user journey designed and implemented across product capture, inventory, recipe recommendations, cooking history and fridge updates.
Without AI, Foodclick's core product loop would not work. AI connects images, household inventory, recipe relevance and user behaviour into one continuously improving system.
Identifying food products and interpreting photographed ingredients.
Mapping detected items to structured product categories, units and quantities.
Ranking and adapting recipes according to the user's actual inventory.
Supporting recipe generation, adaptation and practical cooking guidance.
Learning from cooking history, corrections and optional dish photos to improve future suggestions.
Cooking a dish creates a repeatable event with a date and history. It is not a one-time checkbox.
Users can add a photo to a cooking event, creating useful product data for future model improvement.
Missing products are presented as neutral information, not hard blockers or guilt-driven warnings.
After cooking, users can adjust or remove the products that were used.
Make the right behaviour easy without turning the product into a guilt machine.
Foodclick is planned as a freemium consumer mobile application. The free experience introduces the core product loop, while a premium subscription will support more frequent use, deeper personalization and advanced inventory and nutrition features.
Longer-term opportunities may include retail, sustainability and partner integrations, but the initial focus is direct consumer product validation.
Kindframe is currently founder-funded. After completing private beta validation and collecting early product data, we plan to explore pre-seed or seed financing to accelerate Foodclick's launch and growth.
Recipe base expansion, recognition testing, QA and launch polish.
Test product relevance, collect feedback and analyze cooking events.
Launch the Polish and English product experiences on iOS and Android.
Use inventory patterns, cooking history and corrections to improve recommendations.
Explore retail, sustainability and food-sector partnerships.
The long-term data asset is not simply a recipe collection. It is the structured relationship between what users have, what they cook, what they photograph and what they repeat.
